Happy Retirement 2023..Blessings .. Yes a great little baking experience. Team Attorneys Military Mediators Consultants visited many times over the years, all excellent bakery items. A great place to purchase for church,school or business,tradeshows. We purchase several items for our legal military mediation meetings and tradeshows..Legal and Law enforcement agrees the bakery items are excellent. A grand salute to staff and management...

Family owned bakery that smells like heaven, in person and when you open a box of goodies at home. Prepared with love, presented with style. Doughnuts, danishes, fruit squares, coffee cakes, cookies, and breads all made from scratch with top quality product. No corners are cut to save a buck. Pick your favorite and dive in then share your experience with everyone. Local places are precious. I satisfied my sweet tooth for sure. Thank you Keans. Keep up the great work.

I've been going to Kean's literally my entire life. I have memories of Kean's going back to when I was 4 or 5 years old. My mom used to bribe me and my brothers if we were good in church we could get a donut after. I am still going to Kean's all these years later and they're still incredible. There is no other bakery that even comes close to what Kean's has to offer between quality and variety and the charm that only a real bakery can offer. You know everything here is prepared with love.

A solid 4 out of 5 based on donuts. What a bargain. "Specialty" donuts were only $1.95 and regular donuts (which included apple fritters) were $1.65. 10% discount when you use cash. The yeast dough is soft but with a bit of a bite compared to, let's say, my fav yeast donuts in Chicago from D&D's Place or Firecakes. Cake donuts had a moist, large crumb. A was a bit disappointed by the caramel and amount of it on my Turtle donut. Despite that, Keans is a tremendous value, offers good pastries, and recommended by any measure.

Something's are just to treat yourself to. I've been eyeballing this local bakery for 3 weeks and it didn't disappoint me. I feel like I definitely need to wake up a whole 5 hours earlier to go in there and get the exact things I would want, but for going in at 10:30 I was still happy haha. The pecan roll was something I haven't seen before, and I got a good ole chocolate chocolate donut. Everything was marvelous, and I'm sure it's only going to get better the earlier I go 😏.

Sad to say Kean's Bakery will be closing July 2nd for a well deserved retirement after 35 years of serving friendship and the best ever bakery. Good luck and Godspeed

we LOVE Keans! We drive all the way from Elgin at Christmas time to get special baked goods for our family Christmas Eve party and celebrating my Dad's birthday. Keans is just another part of growing up in Itasca that stuck with me and my Dad still lives down the street in the house i grew up in. Thank you Keans for yummy stuff all these years!!!
